Frequently Asked Questions

Do you allow visitors?
We do not allow visitors until puppy selection and puppy pick-up.
This is for a few reasons:
  • This is our home, not a public kennel facility.

  • Limiting traffic keeps moms and puppies healthy, safe, and stress-free.

  • Puppies have developing immune systems and outside germs can be dangerous.

We provide lots of photos and videos so you can follow along and get a great feel for the puppies and parents.

Do you have adult dogs available?
We rarely have adults available. When we do, they are placed very selectively.

What is your Guardian Program?
Our guardian program places select puppies with approved families.
Guardians provide a loving home, and we retain breeding rights for a set amount of time.
Once retired, the dog is fully yours forever.
We go over all expectations in detail before approval.

How do I apply?
You can fill out our Puppy/Guardian Application. This helps us get to know your family, lifestyle, and what you’re looking for.

How does puppy selection work?
Selections happen around 5–7 weeks.
We help match puppies based on temperament, lifestyle, and your preferences.
No in-person visits before selection for health and safety reasons.

When can we pick up our puppy?
Puppies go home at 8 weeks.
Pickup is done in person at our home.

Are your puppies health-tested?
Yes. All of our Bernese Mountain Dogs come from health-tested parents with documented lines, genetics, and clearances.

Do your puppies come with a contract?
Yes — every puppy comes with a contract outlining expectations, health guarantees, and ownership details.

What do your puppies go home with?
  • Starter bag of food
  • Health records
  • Vet check
  • Blanket with mom/litter scent
  • Lifetime breeder support

Do you offer support after we take our puppy home?
Yes! We provide lifetime support for training, health questions, and general guidance. You’re never alone in this journey.

How do you socialize your puppies?
Our puppies are raised in our home with daily human interaction, exposure to normal household sounds, and early basic training and handling. This helps them grow into well-adjusted, confident dogs.

What kind of temperament can I expect?
Bernese Mountain Dogs are known for being gentle, loyal, and affectionate.

Do you offer transport?
Yes! We offer ground transport and flight nanny services for families who live further away.
  • Prices vary depending on location.
  • Puppies must be fully paid for before transport is arranged.
  • Transport fees are separate and paid directly to the transport provider.
